We’re back here in Cebu again… this time, to attend John’s brother’s wedding: Maunes – Benabaye Nuptial. Since I won’t be staying with John’s family on the same hotel (Radisson Blu), we’ve decided to book to the nearest hotel facing it, the Bayfront Hotel Cebu.
Situated along Kaohsiung Street facing SM Cebu, Bayfront Hotel Cebu is a 3-star hotel pretty decent for your vacation needs. a And one of the best reasons to stay, is that it’s just a few minutes drive to the seaport, airport, other malls & business centers!
See Fuente, Osmena, Ayala, and SM? Told yah!
You can make life easy and just reserve and book online, hassle-free!
Very accomodating staff, and the lobby looks fresh to the eye.
Still waiting for your room availability? Relax in this cozy lobby.
These touch-sensitive elevator buttons and floor guide deserve their own #selfie.
I think I found the perfect place for our tux photoshoot later!
Goodbye hotel door hangers, the rooms have these switches.
We availed the Superior Room, while the rest of the rooms available are Standard, Suite, and Barkada Room thanks to Sir Allain Fonte for letting us browse through each class. Each of these rooms assures you a good night’s sleep with the help of essential amenities and services such as coffee and tea facilities, and hot and cold shower. These rooms are fully equipped with the folllowing:
- Daily breakfast
- LED TV with International Cable Channels
- Wired and Wifi Internet connectivity
- Private bathroom
- Hot and cold shower
- In Room Safe
- Telephone
- Executive Writing Desk and Chair
- Mini Bar with Coffee ad Tea Making Facilities
Superior Room:
Barkada Room (bathroom, refrigerator area, cabinet layout same as Superior):
On the other hand, the Suite Room has all the features of Superior and Barkada Rooms, except that it also has these additional features:
- Living Room
- Kitchen
- Dining area set up
- Toilet with shower and tub
- Weighing Scale
Suite Room (bathroom, refrigerator area, cabinet layout same as Superior):
Opened our room curtain and voila! There’s our car! Oh wait we don’t have one… Hello SM!
And speaking of Wi-Fi, this hotel is equipped with a super fast one! Although each room can only accommodate a maximum of 2 sessions, I guess that’s enough for one laptop and one phone. How about the rest of your gadgets? Just switch! Lol. Check out the superb speed of their connection, not your typical “Free Wi-Fi” hotspots that doesn’t even have internet… just router Wi-Fi.
Smile! Time to write this blog at the moment!
While the hotel doesn’t have a pool, or a chain of restaurants inside, a good workout place is enough for us especially because we have to fit on our tuxedos for the wedding… and they got this Sweat Gym located on the 6th floor!
Here’s the rest of the facilities (for now, these are huge spaces available for businesses).
- Cafe Breeze – an all-day dining restaurant that serves Filipino and International dishes
- 7-Eleven Convenience Store
- Ballroom and meeting rooms
We’re just on the first day of stay as of this writing, got too excited because of the internet speed haha! And we’re definitely having fun so far!

Bayfront Hotel Cebu is located at Kaohsiung Street, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City, 6000, Philippines. For reservations, contact (032)230-6777, or visit their website at www.bayfronthotelcebu.com for reservations and other inquiries.
Omg, “Sweat Gym” haha! The hotel looks very nice. My boyfriend and I stayed at a rusty pension house when we visited Cebu before. Hopefully we can experience something like this when we get the opportunity to visit again. 🙂
But we didn’t use that gym Haha! I’d rather enjoy Chicken Skin, Cebu Chorizo, Balamban Liempo, and Zubuchon instead.
It’s a different story of course if you want to enjoy Sinulog. Bayfront is far from the baseline, the party of all parties.
Still, you’ve got to try this. A pool and better food choices would’ve made this a 5-star.
Chicken skin! So much food to try over there in Cebu!
IKR! They’re so yummy, mag calcibloc na lang for cholesterol haha!
Nice yung gym! Tried it out during my stay 🙂
